主啊，感謝讚美祢 因為祢的恩、祢的愛 祢吸引人到祢的面前 祢用祢自己聖手扶持我們 使我們可以回到祢的跟前 主啊，你是察看人心腸肺腑的上帝 祢知道我們一切的狀況 祢知道我們心裡何等的剛硬、冷淡 我們何等的假冒、遠遠離開祢 求主今天用祢的大恩、大愛 把我們帶到祢的面前 感謝讚美 奉主耶穌基督得勝的尊名祈求的 阿們 今天是我們佈道會第二個晚上 It's the second evening of gospel rally 我們的題目是尊嚴、墮落與救贖 The theme is "The Dignity the Fall and the Redemption of Man" 有一次，有一個圖畫家 there was a painter 他要畫耶穌基督十二歲的情形 He wants to paint Jesus as a boy - 所以他在整個城市遊走 Walking in the city - 後來他看見一個孩子長得非常英俊 So, he saw a boy who was handsome 非常可愛 所以他就到他父母親的面前 Very adorable So he came to his parents 「可以讓我把你的孩子 畫成一張漂亮的圖畫嗎？」 "Can I use your son as a for my drawing" 他父母親說：「可以啊」 His parents said "ok, fine" 所以他就把這個孩子當作模特兒 So, this son, this boy became a model 畫了一張非常漂亮的圖畫 draw a beautiful picture 以後、這個事情過了以後 after these 這個孩子慢慢長大 this boy grew up 不久以後呢 long after 經過一十年、二十年 After ten, twenty years 有一天呢 One day 有一個人再對他說 Someone say to him 他說：「我要畫你」 "I want to have a painting of you" - 因為這個孩子已經變成一個乞丐了 Now he is a beggar 變成一個很醜、很髒的乞丐 Ugly, dirty beggar 所以這個人說：「我要畫你」 "I want to draw a painting of you" 他說：「你要畫我？」 "You want to draw a painting of me" 「你曾經畫過我」 "You once had a painting of me" 「我哪裡畫過你？」 "When did I " -「我十二歲的時候」 "When I was twelve" 「你現在還要畫我？」 "you still want to do the same now?" - 他說：「你是誰？」 "Who are you?" -「我什麼時候見過你？」 "When did I see you?" 那個孩子告訴他 the boy said 「我曾經被你畫過」 "I was once as the object of the painting" 「那個時候你把我畫成耶穌十二歲」 "at that time, i was like Jesus as a boy" - 然後現在他又髒、又爛 Now I'm so dirty 這個人對他說：「我還要再畫你」 This is man said I still wanted a painting of you 因為這個人不知道現在變成這樣壞的乞丐 就是從前那個美若天仙的孩子 This is painting, painter didn't know that this is the boy who was so handsome back there 等畫完了以後 after the painting 把錢給了他 gave the money 這孩子現在已經是一個三十多歲的大人 this boy is thirty now 他流著眼淚 he is wiping and says 他說：我的一生已經改變了 my life has been changed 我已經墮落了 I fallen 親愛弟兄姊妹 Dear brothers and sisters 你知道不知道你「原先」是怎麼樣？ Do you know what was your original states 請問你自己滿意你現在的生活嗎？ Are you happy with life you have now? 聖經給我們看到的 The Bible says 是我們創造主親自講的話語 Our creator Himself says 「你是按照我的形象樣式被造」 You are created in my image likeness 你是尊貴的 You are made as dignity 你是榮耀的 with glory 詩篇第八篇告訴我們 Psalm 8 says 上帝用尊貴榮耀作為人的冠冕 God crown us with His glory and dignity 這句話是全本聖經裡面很特別的一句話 It is very special verse in the Bible 因為這給我們看見，人有「價值系統」 人有「道德系統」 It shows us men have a value system and morality 我已經在華盛頓用五天的時間 專講這兩句話 In Washington i have spent 5 days on this two statements 人與動物之間不同的地方在哪裡？ The differences between men and animals 西方的亞里斯多德講一句話 (西元前 367 - 347) Plato and Aristotle from the west said 人是有理性的活物 We are created with reason 東方的孟子也講一句話 Mencius from the east said 人是有「良心」的動物 這就是人與所有動物不同的地方 We are men..made..We have conscience That is how we different from animals 在蘇格拉底的時候 In the time of Socrates (470 BC – 399 BC) 開始探討人類的價值 When it started to study the value of humanity 在這以前，人思想宇宙、大自然 before they thought about cosmos 但是蘇格拉底把整個哲學方向轉過來了 Nature Socrates changed direction of philosophy 人應該探求自己的價值在哪裡 We should search for our value 人應當知道自己是誰 We should search for the answer 所以蘇格拉底在哲學上的影響 who am i So Socrates influenced philosophy 從人之外的事物 轉到人自己對自己的看法 This time he turned the direction of philosophy inward towards how we see ourselves 到了他學生的學生亞里斯多德的時候 When his student's student Aristotle 他說人是理性活物 He said we are created, we have reasons 所以人與動物最大的不同 Difference between animals and us 我們會探討、我們會思想 It was we will search, we think 我們會估計、我們會研究 we estimate, we research 然後這一些功能就是人與動物不同的地方 All these functions make us different from animals 這個時候，在中國差不多同一個時代 In about the same era in China 有一個人叫做孟子 他說：人之所以是人 Mencius 因為人有惻隱之心 He said for us to be human It is because we have heart of compassion 人有羞過之心 人有一個「羞惡」 we have sense of right and wrong, sense of shame 你自己犯錯的事情 人還有一個辭讓之心 sense of giving way to others 不但如此 - Not only so 人還有是非之心 we have a sense of right and wrong 這四件事情把它歸起來 就是人有「良知」的功用 When you categorise these 4 things We said we have conscience 這樣整個西方的文化 So, the Western culture 跟東方的文化 compare to Eastern culture 從這兩句的差別發展下去 Develop basic on these two the difference between these two statements 所以西方變成研究的一個地方 So the Western became the place to study 「邏輯」變成很重要的關鍵 Logic became important 東方「心性」變成文化的中心點 所以這兩樣到底在講什麼？ For the people in east they place emphasis on the heart 講人到底與萬物不同在什麼地方 So, what these two talk about The difference between men and animals 人之所以是人 For us to being human 因為有一種人性在我們裡面 Because there is sense of humanity in us 使我們與所有的萬物都不同 They distinguish us from all things 這是聖經告訴我們的 This is what Bible says 而這個東西是什麼呢？ What is this 就是神用尊貴跟榮耀當作冠冕給我們戴上 He gives us dignity and glory as our crown 也就是人的價值 因為人懂得什麼叫做尊貴 We all value, because we know dignity 人的價值因為我們懂得什麼叫做榮耀 We all value, because we know glory 而這兩件事是神的本性 所以到了啟示錄第五章的時候 These two things are attributes of God 但願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀 So in Revelation chapter 5 智慧、豐富、能力 都歸回上帝以及坐在寶座上的羔羊 My all glory, honour, power, authority, everything be to God with His throne 從來沒有一本書像聖經告訴我們 No other, but Bible will say us 人是按照上帝的形像樣式被照的 因為有這個神的形像樣式 God made man created in image of God 所以人才是最珍貴的 We are honourable, because we have image like us 人才是用榮耀的 That why we have glory 那麼「尊貴」什麼意思呢？ 就是價值系統的認知 What does it mean as glory That is understanding value system 我們知道這個是尊貴的 We know this is honourable 這個是卑賤的 所以我們說：我佩服這個人 This is despicable So we said we admire this 我尊重這個人 I honour this 我看不起這個人 I despise this 一個懂得看得看得起、看不起別人的人 需要一個智慧 You had need wisdom to know how to despise things and honour things 不是單單物質的貴賤的區別 It's not just basic on material value 因為單單在物質上認出貴賤的人 不是很尊貴的人 You are not too honourable if you only see material value 但是今天我們看整個世界 都在這裡陷下去 But entire world is falling in this area 我們看見一個人滿身都是綾羅綢緞的人 If you see someone who is well dressed 珠光寶氣的人 with lots of jewelry 你就對他特別尊重 then you treat him very well 對他特別客氣 then you are courteous with him 但是當你看見衣衫襤褸的人 你就看不起他 so you see someone who is shabby You look down him 聖經告訴我們 很多的教會走這條路線 Many churches are doing this 所以雅各書裡面說 Book of James says 有錢的人到你們教會中間來 When the rich comes to your church 你就給他尊位給他們坐 You give him an honourable seat 但是貧窮的人來的時候 If poor person comes 你就隨便：你就坐在我腳邊吧！ You will say you can sit anywhere 親愛的弟兄姊妹 耶穌基督說 Jesus Christ says 人所尊貴的東西 What man honour 在上帝面前是可憎惡的東西 In the eyes of God is abominable 所以我們要回到聖經來看什麼叫做尊貴？ We must return to the Bible to see what is honourable 尊貴是有階級的分別的 There are several levels in which we distinguish the honourable 所以最高的⋯最高的尊貴 The highest and the highest and the ultimate level 我們尊敬他、我們敬佩他 We honour him, we respect him 到最高、最高的時候 in the highest 我們「敬拜」他 We worship him 那麼最低的呢？ at the lowest 我們看不起他 we despise 我們取笑他、我們藐視他 we ridicule, we look down 我們厭惡他 we treat him with disdain 人跟動物不同的地方 The different between us and animals 人有尊貴價值的這個觀念 is that we have value system to judge what honourable 這個尊貴價值就從我們對上帝的敬拜 Honourable 到我們生活裡面所有的層次看得出來 The sense of honourable talks about worship And our attitude towards various things in life 除了這個以外 Other then this 人還有另外一個價值 we have another value system 就是「榮耀」的價值 About "glory" 尊貴跟榮耀 Honour and Glory 為什麼榮耀有價值呢？ Why does 因為聖經告訴我們 我們應當有美德、有聖潔、有公義 We have holiness 有慈愛、良善等等 righteousness, virtue, love kindness 然後這些價值就變成我們榮耀的價值 All these qualities become our glory 當一個人生活是高尚的時候 If you live in honourable life 我們會尊榮他 We will honour that person 因為他有榮耀的生活 He has a glorious life 如果一個人的生活不是榮耀的 他就過一個自取羞辱的生活 If he doesn't live in a glorious life Then he other will ridicule him 這是所有人跟動物不同的地方 How we are different from animal 所以人的尊貴跟榮耀 這個人的價值的所在 This where our value lies 人的道德的所在 Our morality lies 所以我們做人的時候 Being human 應當把上帝所給我們的尊貴、榮耀 把它行出來 We must manifest glory and honour that God give us 但是我們今天的生活是不是如此？ But is it how we live 聖經告訴我們不是如此 The Bible says No 因為「墮落」已經存在了 Because fallen is reality 昨天我跟你講了很重要的關鍵 我不知道你們有沒有注意的去把它思想 I don't know whether you thought deeply I preached last night 整個進化論的思想 Evolutionism 不是從尊貴建立起來 It's not derived from value of honour 是從假設、人從很卑微的動物 演化變成現在的狀況 It presupposes that we came from barbaric lowly animals 那如果這個事情是真的話 If that is indeed true 表示我們不需要思想我們多尊貴 It means we don't think about how honourable we are 因為我們的來路就是很卑微的 Because origin road was lowness 但是聖經不接受這個事情 The Bible reject this 聖經告訴我們是按照上帝的形象樣式造的 we are created in God's image likeness 所以人是非常、非常尊貴的 We are deeply honourable 但今天我們的光景不是如此 But that not how we are now 因為我們已經從尊貴的地位中間掉下來 Because we are fallen from our step of honour 所以整個為題就在「地位」的問題 So the question is question of position 位分的問題的是聖經裡面看最重要的問題 The Bible sees this is important issue 所以當天使犯罪的時候 When the angels failed 神不是說他犯了「什麼」罪 God didn't say what sin they committed 神用一個很重要的詞句來描寫他 God described in the statement 這個叫做不守⋯什麼？ That's you? 「不守本位」的天使 You are not in your original position 不守本位 這「本位」是什麼呢？ What's original position 聖經說 日有日的榮光 In the day, there is sunlight 夜有夜的榮光 And moon has moonlgiht 星有星的榮光 And there is light of star 照樣，神有神的位份 Likewise, God has a position 天使有天使的位份 Angles have positions 人有人的位份 Human has a position 所以從位份來說 In the matter of positions 上帝定了價值 God determines the value 定了尊貴 honour 定了你的位份 determine your position 當一個人「離開他的位份」的時候 If you depart from his position 這叫做「犯罪」 This is sin 所以罪的觀念 聖經跟所有律法所講的不同的地方 So the Bible has different concept of sins, compare to other books 是提到「位份」的問題 It's about position 所以當人離開了他 原先上帝所定的尊貴地位的時候 So when man depart from the original position, as God has set for him 上帝說：這就是犯罪 God says: "This is sin" 你看有什麼宗教嚴格到這個地步的呢？ Which religion is so strict 所以當亞當犯罪以後 So when Adam sin 神對人講的第一句話是什麼呢？ God said to man the first thing He said 「你在哪裡？」 Where are you? 上帝沒有說「你做了什麼？」 God didn't say what have you done 上帝沒有說「你說了什麼？」 or God didn't say what have you said 「你做了什麼？」 What have you done 上帝說：「你在哪裡？」 Instead He says "where are you?" 一樣，耶穌死的時候 When Jesus died 祂什麼問題都不回答 He didn't answer any questions 「你做了什麼？」祂不回答 He wouldn't answer any 但是當他們問祂說：你是猶太人的王嗎？ when they ask Him, "are you king of Jews" 耶穌說：你說的是 Jesus says, "what you said was right" 我為作王而被生在世界上 I was born to the world to be a king 特別為真理作見證 To testimony for the truth 「你是上帝的兒子嗎？」 Are you son of God What you said is right 將來我必駕雲從天上降臨 I will return from the cloud to the earth 你知道這兩句話要講什麼呢？ What do these two statements say 你的位份真的是上帝的兒子嗎？ Are you really the son of God 你的位份真的是猶太人的王嗎？ Is it really your position, the king of Jews 所以基督不是因為祂做了什麼事而死 He didn't die because what he had done 基督也不是因為祂說了什麼話而死 He didn't die because what he had said 是因為祂「是誰」 is because who He was 他在什麼位份中間來到世界上的 His position in which He came to the world 這是聖經裡面從頭到尾一致的一個觀念 This is consistent concept in scripture 人的位份是神定的 Man's position is determined by God 整個價值就因為這個位份而有的 And our value is determined by this position 當你離開你的位份的時候 When you depart from this position 那麼你就是在罪惡的中間了 And you are in sin 這個位份向上、向下都是移動 Whether you move up or down you have to move away 人從原有地位掉下來的時候這個叫犯罪 If you are fail then you have sin 撒旦的犯罪是什麼呢？ Satan's sin 牠是「掉到上面去」 Then he went up with 所以我發明一個名詞叫做「向上墮落」 I coined the term call "falling up with" 你聽到「落」你一定想向下的 You think falling is going down with 亞當的墮落是向下的 Adam fail down with 但是撒旦的墮落是「向上」 But Satan fail up with 因為牠說：我要與至上者同等 Because he said I wanna be equal with Holy one 我要像上帝一樣 I wanna be like God 上帝說：你下去吧 God says "go down" 因為這個就是「離開本位」 This is you have left your position 離開你本來的位份的時候 When you left your position 無論你向下、無論你向上都是墮落 Whether you go up or down, you have fallen 今天我們如果明白這個聖經原則意義的話 If you understand the meaning of this principal 我們對罪的看法就完全不一樣 Our attitude to sin will be different 當上帝都亞當說「你在哪裡」的時候 When God said to Adam, where are you 是不是上帝不知道他在哪裡啊？ Did God not know where he was 上帝知道不知道他在哪裡啊？ Did He know where he was 但是上帝知道他在哪裡，不夠 Of course He knew, no enough 要他自己知道他在哪裡才夠 He want Adme himself to know where he was 今天如果一個做老師的人行為不像老師 If teacher doesn't behave like a teacher 一個做總統的人行為不像總統 If president doesn't behave like a president 這些都是從位份中間掉下來 This is fallen from their positions 親愛的弟兄姊妹們 請問你自己現在的位份你滿足嗎？ Are you satisfy with your position 你真正滿足你現在的狀況嗎？ Are you happy with your situation now 有一次我摸著自己的手 Once I touch my own hand 我說：我人原來就是這樣的嗎？ Is this all there is to be human 當上帝創造我們的時候 When God create us 原先就是這樣的嗎？ Is this original state 我相信上帝創造人原先是很榮耀 I believe your Creator glorious 我們現在已經墮落 變成一個原來的地位不相稱的地步 We are fallen in the step which is not the same 所以神對亞當說：「你在哪裡」 So God said to Adam "where are you" 這句話不是說：你在哪裡呀？ It's not "where are you" 我找你找得半死啊 I have been looking for you 神不是這樣問的 He's not asking this 我相信祂是：你在哪裡 He is asking sternly: where are you? 你已經離開了你原有應當有的地位 You have departed from your rightful position 你現在的位份不是你原有的地方 Your current position is not the original one 你現在已經墮落了 You are fallen 然後我要你不在這個位份中間 I do not want you to be this position 我已經為你預備了另外一個位份 I prepare another position for you 所以全本聖經思想位份的問題 我們一定要深深思考 We must think about the Bible says about our position 嚴格地說起來 Strictly speaking 是從蘇格拉底說：γνωθι σαυτον (拉丁文) Socrates (470 BC – 399 BC) 這個希臘文的意思 You should understand yourself Socrates said 你要了解你自己 你要知道你自己是誰 You must understand who you are 從那個時候到現在 From that point to now 人類最大的問題在哪裡呢？ The biggest problem of humanity 就是我們要尋找在宇宙中間 我們的位份到底是什麼？ Is that we are searching for our position in the cosmos 直到今天我們沒有找到 Till now we haven't found the answer 所以我們用各樣的辦法要探知一切 We use all means to search for all things 卻不知自己 We don't know ourselves 我們探求我們的價值 We search for our value 結果沒有真正找到自己價值 But we haven't found our value 除非你回到上帝的面前來 Unless you return to God 上帝為我們造的位份 God created us in a certain position 因為「像」上帝 To be like Him 而我很奇怪的、在我教哲學的中間 When I teach philosophy 我發現歷史上只有一個人提過一句話 In history only one person mention this 很像聖經的這個觀念 It's similar to the Bible says 那句話是誰講的？ Who said that? 是蘇格拉底的學生柏拉圖講的 Socrates' student, Plato said (Plato, 427 - 347 BC) 他說人在世界上最大的責任 He said the greatest duty of man 就是要「像上帝」 is to be like God 那其實蘇格拉底的上帝是怎樣的上帝？ Who was Socrates' God 柏拉圖的上帝是怎樣的上帝？ How about Plato's God 希臘的上帝根本是神話中間的那些神明 The Greek gods were in mythology 而這些神明是道德非常低落的 These gods' were morally low 他們可以偷、他們可以搶 They could steal, they would rob 他們可以騙 They would cheat 他們可犯姦淫、他們可以講謊話 They would commit adultery, they would lie 所以這些神明不值得人尊重 These gods do not deserve our worship 為這個緣故 蘇格拉底不承認這些神明的地位 For this reason Socrates refused to acknowledge these gods 最後雅典的法院就判斷他死刑 Athenian authority sent him to death 「你怎麼可以教導人說這些不是神明？」 How could you teach others, these were not gods 蘇格拉底說：我不是不信神 Socrates says 我相信的神不是這些 the god i believe are not these gods 神應當是最聖潔的 God should be most holy 應當是最尊貴的 most honourable 應當是最良善的 The good, the best God 那一位神不是這些神 Not these gods 在希臘裡面有 Jupiter In Greek there is Jupiter 有、還有 Prometheus 還有許多、許多的神 and many other gods 在蘇格拉底眼中這些人不夠資格成為神 In the eyes of Socrates these are not worthy to be God 所以他相信一個最高、最高的神 He believed there's a ultimate being 這個觀念哪裡來的呢？ When this concept come from 你從聖經你就看明白了 From the Bible you can see it 這是神放在人心裡中間神自己的觀念 God has placed His own understanding in our heart 所以當外邦人中間 among pagans 有一些很高貴品德的人 There are some people who are of good character 他們建立與神之間某種關係的時候 There were some kind of relationship with God 你不明白到底根據什麼渠道 他們有這種思想 You don't know how they have such thought in life 有人說蘇格拉底可能接觸了 那些在希臘做生意的猶太人 Some people said Socrates came in the contact with some 所以猶太人就傳「有一位至高的神」 business men from the Jews because the Jaws preach that one God 是聖潔的神、是慈愛的神 the one holy God, the good God 是公義的神、是智慧的神 the loving God, the righteous God, the wise God 蘇格拉底醒悟了 He was awaked 所以他就在觀念中間把希臘的神明 完全打倒了 So he reject the Greek gods 他為了相信有一位最高的神 Because he wanted to believe the highest God 結果他被逼吃毒藥而死 So he was sent to death 那這個事情我想你們都知道 I believe you all know this 蘇格拉底變成人類歷史最尊貴的人之一 So he was one of most honourable man in human history 因為其中有一個人對他說 A certain person said to him 你在監牢裡面，我有鑰匙可以帶你出去 I can bring you out of prison with the keys 因為我深信法院的判決是不對的 Because I believe authority are not just 像你這樣好的人是不應當死的 Such a good man like you should not die 明天你就要死了 Tomorrow you are going to die 我今天把你放出去 I want to release you now 因為我帶著鑰匙 with my keys 我知道怎麼樣幫助你 I know how to help you 蘇格拉底說：請你不要幫助我 Socrates said: "don't help me" 我應當尊重法院的判決 I should follow the judgment 這是一個良好公民應當盡的責任 A good citizen's responsibility 那個人莫名其妙 That person was astonished 你都沒有罪、你沒有什麼錯 You are not...you haven't committed anything wrong. 你還要尊重法院錯誤的判斷嗎？ You still want to honour the wrong judgment from the law 他說：我是良好的公民 I am a good citizen 我就是死我也不怕 Even I die, I am not afraid 因爲他可以犯錯，不等於我也可以犯錯 He can make a mistake, but I can't follow suit 如果法院犯錯來判我死刑 The legal people can make a mistake to send him to death 我知道死不過是暫時的 I know dead is temporal 死不過是一扇門 It is just a door 把我們從這個世界帶到另一個世界中間去 That will lead me from this world to the next 所以無論我是自然而死 When I die naturally 或者我是被逼而死 Or I die by force 有一天我總要死 One day I must die 所以這個我沒有懼怕 So I'm not afraid 所以那個時候呢，第二天早上 Second morning 他的學生到監牢來看他 His students came to prison to see him 很痛苦、很多人在那裡哭 They were all crying 那蘇格拉底最後講一句話 「Crito (克里托) 」，他的學生 Crito, his student 我請求你幫助我一件事情 Help me on one thing 因為我還欠神明一隻公雞 I still own certain god a rooster 現在我不能償還 Now I can not pay back 我就要死了 I'm gonna die 這是我人生裡面一個欠債 一個良心過不去的事情 This is the debt that I owed to that God 所以請你答應我 Please help me 替我買一隻雞獻給那一個神 Buy a rooster offer to that god 因為我欠他 Because it's my debt to him 他雖然已經信了真神 Although he believe in the true Good 但是他不願意過一個虧欠的生活 But he didn't want to be lacking in anything 這個人是很偉大、很偉大的人 great character 所以美國的富蘭克林講一句話 Franklin from USA (Benjamin Franklin, 1706 - 1790) 他說我一生要學的兩個人 two persons I want to models after 特別是他們的「死」 their death 第一、蘇格拉底的死我要效法他 Socrates' death, I want to learn from him 第二、耶穌的死我要效法他 Second, Jesus' death, I want to learn from Him 因為蘇格拉底的死是一個「聖人的死」 Socrates' death is death of saint 而耶穌的死是上帝兒子的死 Jesus' death is death of Son of God 富蘭克林為什麼在墳墓裡面 要把十條最後一句話寫這兩個人呢？ Why did Franklin talk about these two persons in his own tombstone 因為他要告訴我們人生如果真正有意義 For men to have value in life 你真正找到意義 You wanna search for meaning 你不應當怕死 You must not be afraid of death 因為生命的價值不是死所能抹滅掉的 The value of life can not be diminished by death 所以這些最尊貴的人 All these honourable people 他們的思想我們都可以學習 Their thoughts of thinking we can learn from them 但是他提到蘇格拉底是聖人的死 When he said Socrates' death is death of saint 但是耶穌基督死是「上帝兒子的死」 But the death of Jesus is death of Son of God 這裡面還有一個質量的不同 There is quality difference between the two 基督跟最偉大的人之間的差別 還是沒有辦法用「份量」來把它相比的 The difference between Christ and all the great people is note quantitative 那麼蘇格拉底以後呢 After Socrates 我們看見人在思想人的價值 That's man continue search for meaning 人在思想人的尊貴 for value and glory 都沒有真正的答案給我們 They didn't find real answer 但是聖經跟所有宗教經典不同的地方 But the difference between the Bible and other religion books 在聖經的第一面就講出來了 is that in the first page 「人是按照上帝的形像樣式造的」 The man is created in God's imagine likeness 而這個「形像樣式」 This imagine likeness 不是我們用自己的道德可以修養出來 it's not something we can achieve in our own effort 這個形像樣式後來到人間來的時候 就是耶穌基督說：「你們要學我的樣式」 the human world Jesus came and he said learn from my example 我們是尊貴的 we are honourable 我們是榮耀的 we have glorious 但是因為罪的緣故我們已經墮落了 but because of sin we have fallen 墮落是一件事實嗎？ Is fallen the reality 如果墮落是一個神話的話 If it is just a myth 我們不必嚴肅地去思考 We don't have to think about it deeply 但是墮落是一件活生生的事實 but it is a reality 所以我們不能不討論這個事情 so we must discuss this 今天的社會 the world today 好像越來越進步 is like making progress it seems 其實越來越墮落 but it's actually fallen 你看同性戀婚姻的合法化 the legalisation of homosexual marriage 這是把人弄到比禽獸不如的情況 it's to bring humanity to become lower than beasts 這些東西是在最先進的國家最先通過 and you see this in the most advanced countries 荷蘭通過了 in the Netherlands 還有許多的國家通過了 in many countries 經過了二十幾個國家以後 of twenty over countries 連美國，被稱為基督教國的國家也通過了 even the so-called Christian nation the USA has approved it 這個是跟進化論完全不同的一個基礎 This is different from evolution 進化論先「假設」人是進步的 Evolution is the presupposes that we make progress 但是事實我們的社會是越來越淪落的 But the reality we are not progressing 所以除非你回到聖經裡面 Unless you return to the Bible 你永遠看不見有關於人的真理 You will not see the truth about men 「人是按照上帝形像樣式被造的」 We care created in God's image and likeness 人是尊貴的 so we are honourable 我們從聖潔墮落了 We are fallen from holiness 我們從公義墮落了 We are fallen from justice 我們從慈愛墮落了 We are fallen from love 我們從良善墮落了 We are fallen from goodness 今天的美國 America today 法律會變成保護壞人的一個工具 The law will become a tool to protect the evil 今天的法院 The law today 追求的不是公義 They don't look for justice 追求的是虛假的理想 They look for false ideas 社會的情形會越來越可怕 science and society will get worse 墮落是一件事實 The fall is reality 所以我們不能把聖經的話當作神話來看待 So we must not treat the Bible's words as myth 因為在這一個似是而非的世界裡面 In this paradoxical world 聖經是唯一似非而是的真理 The Bible is also paradoxical telling you the truth 好像對的不一定對 What it seems be right not be right 好像不對的不一定不對 What it seems be wrong not be wrong 而全本聖經就是似非而是的見證 the Bible talks about what it means to seem wrong and we right 感謝上帝 Thanks be to God 什麼叫做似非而是？ What does it mean to seem right be right 似非而是的另外一句話就是叫做 “Paradox” Paradox 那 “Paradox” 這個字是在主前三百多年 希臘人最先用的 The Greeks coined this term 300 years before Christ 希臘人用這個字的意思到底要表達什麼？ What do they want to express 表示外表衝突、現象不和諧 Out of appearance, there's a disharmony between 但是「實質」是完全和諧的真理 appearances 這個叫做 “Paradox” But in the inner essence actually harmonious 那我把這個翻譯成什麼呢？ In my own mandarin translation 中國哲學的書把它翻譯很多不同的名詞 Chinese have different words for this 有的翻譯叫做「逆反性」 some says Ni-Fan-Xing 逆反性就是逆反性，很難翻譯 那麼，我把它翻譯成「反合性」 I say Fan-He-Xing 好像相反，其實相合 It seems to be opposite but it's actually harmonious 那反合性這個翻譯是我獨創的 is I call it this term 你在哲學書裡面、辭典沒有看到的 You won't see this in books 那麼什麼意思呢？ what does it mean 我把它很簡單的解釋 simply put 如果我今天說：楊弟兄 I say brother You 是一個很、很、很謙卑的人 I said that he's such a humble man 這是我講的喔 不是他講的喔 他講跟我講有不同的地方 There is difference between him say and I say 很不同 very different 那我講了以後呢 After I say this 我這個 statement (陳述) 已經對你講了 This statement has been introduced you 你們都聽見了 You have heard it 那我再問他 I'll ask him 你看是不是？ (我不覺得) 楊弟兄是一個很、很謙卑的人 是不是？ (不是，一講了就不謙卑了) 「不是」，他說不是 那我說你是很謙卑的人 I say you are humble man 謙卑到不敢承認 so humble they don't acknowledge your humility 我說是不是？ Is that true 我問你第二句：你謙卑到不敢承認 (很難說欸，這樣答也不對) 所以我第一次講他的時候 the first time I talk about this 我說是，他說不是 I say, yes. He said, no 所以你說這兩個人 you said these two persons 一同為主工作 They are all working for the Lord 兩個唱反調 But they are contradicting to each other 怎麼會同心事奉主呢？ How can they work together 我說是的，他說不是 I said, yes. He said, no 所以你因為知道你很謙卑、你又不要承認 Because you know you are humble, you don't want to acknowledge 所以你就說「不是」是不是？ 我問你是不是？不是？ (不是) 不是，我越講是、他越說不是 那我告訴你，就因為他講不是 所以他講話就證明我講的是對的 Because of his no proves my yes is true 對不對啊？ 因為我講的時候，反我 When I said this 一反，就證明我是對的 My opposite answer 我再講、他再反 所以你不要從現象看他反對我 So don't just based on judgment on appearances Do not judge him, judge us simple because phenomena because behind beyond the phenomena there is essential very important essence He is agree with me 在現象的背後，其實他們是和諧的 他用什麼東西來贊成我呢？ With what does he acknowledge my statement 他用「反對」來贊成我 with a seemingly negative statement he 對不對？ first my statement 你是不是用反對來贊成我？ 又不是 (不對) 所以結果呢，兩個人就相反到底 但是真正聰明的人知道 唐牧師講的是對的 因為他謙卑 所以他絕對不可以承認他謙卑 Because he is humble, he can not say yes 越有學問的人 the more learning you 越感到自己沒有學問 the more you realise you're not learning 越會國術的人 The more you know martial arts 越不隨便彰顯自己 you more you don't fight 越彰顯自己的人 The more you manifest yourself 越膚淺 the more shallow you are 所以當你懂得什麼叫 “paradox” 的時候 If you know what a paradox is 你對真理的認識已經離開表面的矛盾 you are understanding the truth will depart from the appearances 進到內涵裡面的和諧 You enter into the inner harmony 這就是聖經的道理 This is from the Bible 聖經有許多的道理是我們看也看不懂 the Bible has many truths that we don't understand 就因為你看不懂 Because you don't understand 所以它才是真理 that's why it's the truth 裡面有很多相反的東西 There are many contradictions 隱藏了真理 but implicitly the truth in that 我曾經在 Surabaya (泗水) 的教會裡面 In the church in Surabaya 幾個月、每個禮拜專講 “paradox” I spent many months preaching about 'Paradox' 舉一個很簡單的例子 As a simple example 保羅說：「我一點不在最大的使徒下面」 Paul said, I'm not below the greatest of apostles 保羅又說 Then he said 「我是使徒裡面最小、最小的使徒」 I'm the least among the apostles 到底他在誇口、還是他在謙卑呢？ Was he being boasting, or was he be humble 第一句跟第二句話是相反的 It seems to be a contradiction 但是就在這裡我們看見他偉大的地方 between the two statements But in this we see his great character 他說：我一點不在最大的使徒下面 He said, I'm not below the greatest of apostles 他是指「假使徒」說的 He was talking about fake apostles 但是他說：我在使徒中最小的 I'm among the least apostles 他是指「真使徒」講的 He is referring to the truth apostles 所以這個真假的問題 So the question of true or false 現象的矛盾脫離出來 It's liberated because of 你看到真理了 the paradox 如果基督徒不在聖經裡面 明白到所有的 “paradox” 的話 If Christian doesn't understand paradoxes in scripture 你解經一定很亂 You have problems in your interpretation 再舉一個簡單的例子 Another simple example 耶穌說：「你們去普天下傳福音」 Jesus says, go into the ends of the world 但是耶穌說：你不可以出去 你停留在耶路撒冷 Stop in Jerusalem 直到聖靈降臨在你們 till the Holy Spirit comes 那你說耶穌講話出爾反爾 Was He contradict himself again 一方面說你要去 He said ,you must go 一方面說你不可以去 But he said, don't go 這樣的上帝我怎麼聽祂的話呢？ How can I listen to a god like that 裡面隱藏著反合性的真理 You see deep paradoxical truth 就是最珍貴的真理、更深入的真理 It's precious, is deep truth 但是上帝造人的時候 When God created man 他給我們好像很卑微的外表 He give us a lowly appearance 但是我們有很尊貴的內心 but we have our inner essence honourable 我們的尊貴不在肉體上 not physical 我的尊貴是在心靈中間 My honour is in my heart 我們懂得「價值系統」 I know value 我們懂得「道德系統」 We know morality 這不是因為我們物質的身體比動物更好 It's not because our physical body is superior 動物的牙比我更利 Animals' teeth are sharper 動物的爪比我更大 They have bigger claws then we have 動物的身體比我更壯 They have bigger bodies than we have 但是牠只有物質的身體 but they only have a physical body 沒有那尊貴榮耀、「裡面」的一部分 they don't have the inner essence of glory and honour 而那裡面的一部分 That inner essence 就是人之所以為人的所在 defines what it means to be human 這個東西是神形像樣式反映過來的 This is reflection of God's image likeness 我們是照著神的形像樣式被造的 Base on God's image likeness, we are created 我們何等尊貴 We are so honourable 你不能在進化論裡面看見 We cannot see this in evolution 你不在共產主義裡面看見 In communism 除非你回到聖經裡面 Only when you return to the scripture 你連什麼叫做「人」你永遠不了解 Otherwise you won't understand what it means to be human 我是人 I'm human 我是按照神的形像樣式造的 created in God's image and likeness 我是尊貴的、我是榮耀的 I'm honourable, I'm glorious 在我裡面有「永恆性」 In me, have eternity 因為我的上帝是永恆的 Because my God is eternal 我裡面有「創造性」 In me, have creativity 因為上帝是創造者 Because God is the creator 我裡面有「善性」 I have goodness 因為上帝是良善的 Because God is good 我裡面有道德觀念 I have morality 因為神是「義」的源頭 because God is the source of righteousness 這些使你知道 These will help you to understand 你應當回到上帝面前 You must return to God 否則你的生命就是墮落下去 Otherwise your life is fallen 墮落表示我們是有罪的 be fallen means to be sinful 罪的存在不是世界的法律可以講解清楚的 The existed of sin can not be explained 因為聖經裡面提到的「罪」 by the course of the world 最少有四大意義在裡面 When the Bible talks about sin there are four levels of meaning here 第一、就是「本位的丟失」 Departure from your original state You lost your original identity 上都造你的時候給你的位份 你失去了，這個叫做罪惡 You have lost, you have lost your original identity 第二 second 就是你整個「靈」的方向的轉移 You changed the spiritual direction 你問一個法官：什麼叫做罪？ You ask a judge what is sin 他就說：違背憲法的行為叫做罪 You go and against the constitution that is a crime or sin 這個是很好的定義 It's a good definition 但是用我的思想來看 but from my perspective 這個是太膚淺的定義 It's too shallow definition 因為罪如果是這樣膚淺的話 If sin is so shallow 那我們每一個人只要違背這個就是犯罪 違背那個就是犯罪⋯ If you go against this or that and we have sinned 而聖經告訴我們 我們是與神的方向 “轉移” 了 The Bible says we have turned away from the direction of God 轉移了方向以後呢 We have turn our direction away 我們就不能活在上帝面前 We cannot live in God's present 「活在上帝面前」 living God's present 這是人類最大的責任 This is the greatest duty of man 所以保羅說 Paul says 不論你做什麼事 whatever you do 如同做在上帝的面前 Do it as you're doing for the Lord 鑒察人心的 He searches our heart 祂知道我們所作所為 He knows our innermost being 我的行為要在神的面前 my doing are to be before Him 當改教運動開始以後 After the reformation 我們看見整個歐洲接受改教的國家 都轉移了它的方向 The European countries to accept the reformation change the course 平常你不是這樣聽的 You won't hear about these 所以你聽一下這些的講述是怎麼講的 and you listen carefully 馬丁路德以前 before Martin Luther (10 Nov 1483 – 18 Feb 1546) 德國沒有什麼特別的產物 或者他們的工業、或者什麼產品 是世界第一流 There was no particular industry in Germany that was top notch in the world 但是自從馬丁路德以後呢 After the reformation of Martin Luther 德國就越來越精準 Germany had became more precise 做的東西越來越優良 Their products became more 到現在最好的東西 superior and precise, the best products 很多是德國做的 many were from Germany 你買汽車的時候 When you buy cars 你先考慮買德國車 First of all, you will think about Germany 買不到 If you cannot 再買美國車 then American cars 買日本車 or Japanese cars 而日本車為什麼好？ Why are Japanese cars good 因為它用德國做它的標準 They use Germany as the benchmark Toyota 的 pattern 是 Mercedes Toyota's pattern comes from Mercedes Nikon 的 pattern 是 Leica(徠卡相機) Nikon, the pattern comes from Leica 他們就一定要向德國學習 They want to learn from the Germans 換一句話說 In other words 德國的做事的精神已經影響全世界了 The German spirit has influenced the whole world 那麼世界各地的人 People all over the world 盼望他的產品越來越好 they want their products become better and better 他一定要把德國人當作標準 so they wanted Germany to be benchmark 連瑞士的手錶 even Swiss watches 多麼好 no matter how good they are 他們是從改教運動才開始的 They became good after the Reformation movement 改教運動以後 After the movement 曾經有一個法 國的皇帝 There was a French emperor 他堅守走天主教的路 you held on tightly to the catholic movement 所以他不准基督教 可以過一個自由宗教的生活 He didn't want Christians to live free religious life 今天教皇在Philadelphia(費城) 講了「宗教自由」這個題目 Pope Francis in Philadelphia talked about religious freedom today 但是他應當記得 三、四百年前 He should remember three or four hundreds ago 天主教殺死、燒死很多基督徒 How the Catholics killed many Christians 根本沒有宗教自由可言 There is not religious freedom 而最嚴重的一天 叫做 “Saint Bartholomew's Day” in the worst day was Saint Bartholomew's Day 這一天法國的皇帝突然間發出一個通告 the French emperor issued a command 我要我們全國都平等 I want everybody to be equal here 所以你們基督徒 Christians 可以在法國自由敬拜耶穌基督 can worship Jesus Christ freely in France 你們不需要敬拜馬利亞 you don't have to worship Mary 你們可以過自由的生活 You can live a free life 為了慶祝給你們自由 In order to celebrate the freedom 所以皇帝決定請你們吃大餐 The emperor want to invite you to a feast 所以那一天晚上 On that evening 正是 Saint Bartholomew 就是天主教的聖巴托羅繆節期的那一天 On the date of Saint Bartholomew's day 他預備為了十萬份的食物 He prepared a feast for 100,000 people 請基督徒可以來吃 to invite the Christians to come 所以很多的基督徒很幼稚 Many Christians are naive 好像歐巴馬對習近平還是很幼稚一樣 Just as Obama's attitude towards Xi Jinping 「哇！他說他請我，我們去吧」 He said, he's inviting us, let's go 今天是歡慶宗教自由的日子 Let's celebrate religious freedom 我們去赴大餐吧 Let's go to the banquet 所以十萬個人被請去 Hundred thousand people 他們正在歡樂的時候 In the midst of a happiness 感謝上帝！聽了我們的禱告 They said, thanks be to God, He listen to our prayers 給我們可以自由敬拜了 Noe we can worship freely 從今天開始我們成為法國的公民 From today onwards, become French citizen 是有宗教自由的 We have religious freedom 所以正在吃到一半的時候 In the halfway through the meal 秘密的命令開始行出來了 A secret mission started 原來皇帝預備十萬人吃飯的時候 Emperor while prepare the meals for hundred thousand people 他就把御軍派到會場的四周圍 He sent many royal guards 所以這些的軍隊就圍繞著這些基督徒 So the guard surrounded the Christians 忽然間命令下來 Command was issued 用火活活的要把這十萬個基督徒活活燒死 With fire, they were burn alive 這樣解除宗教困難 To exterminate the problem of religious freedom 所以這些正在吃到一半的時候 In the mists of the meals 看見四處火燒起來了 They see fire everywhere 他們知道受騙了 They knew they have been deceived 這個皇帝是騙百姓的 The emperor has cheated them 他的諭令是假的 His command was false 他的應許是假的 His promise was false 他所講的法律也是假的 His law was false 所以他們大喊大叫、就逃走了 So they cried out and then ran away 這樣四處逃走 And ______ run away 有幾萬人被燒死 ten of thousands died 其他人離開這個地方 The others escaped 就決定永遠不回法國 Decided never return to France 現在聽下面的話 Listen carefully 從 "Saint Bartholomew's Days" massacre 就是那個大屠殺到今天 From that massacre to today 法國賺了嗎？ Had to gain anything? Did they gain anything? No They lost the best workmen best craftsmanship 他們失去了最好的工人 最好機工的工人永遠不回法國 whereas the craftsmen would never return 所以現在法國產生的東西是什麼？ French products 賣汽車賣不掉 They can't sell their cars 賣的手錶都是用日本的石英 放在機器就賣的手錶 Their watches are from Japanese and accessories 他們賣香水、他們賣時裝 Or they sell perfume, they sell... 他們沒有辦法製造最好的機器 They cannot produce the best machinery 為什麼呢？ Why 就是一句話 Because of one thing 「無論做什麼，你做給上帝看」 No matter what you do, do it as you do it for the Lord 這一句話，決定了一個國家 This statement 到底它是不是誠實 determines whether a country is honest 它是不是負責任 Whether it is bear the responsibility 兩天以前 Two days ago Volkswagen (福斯汽車) 發生了大事情 Something big happening in Volkswagen 有十幾萬的車要調回來 More then hundred thousand cars have been retreated 昨天韓國的 KIA 汽車 KIA from Korea 有發現一百萬輛車要調回來 More than a million cars to be retreated 因為不誠實 because they are 因為騙的、用欺騙的手段 because they are not honest 我不明白 Volkswagen 怎麼會發生這樣的事情？ I don't know why this happened to Volkswagen Volkswagen 是德國造的 Created, it was made in Germany 德國為什麼做這樣的事情呢？ Why the Germans do that 這跟他們國風是不一樣的 It's not something that Germans do 這跟改教的精神是不一樣的 It's not for what the Reformation will say to you 直到現在 Till today 你看見接受改教精神的國家 Those who have been influenced by the reformation spirit 經濟非常穩定 Economy would be stable 然後日本效法德國 The Japanese tried to learn from the Germans 所以日本也差不多 They were not too bad 但是日本最大的毛病在哪裡？ But the greatest flaw 他們從來不要承認 「南京大屠殺」的罪惡 It's that they would not acknowledge the sin in the Nanking Massacre 不肯道歉 They would not apologise 所以日本到現在已經三十年 經濟沒有辦法起步了 So for the last 30 years they have not made progress 你以為這是簡單的事情嗎？ Do you think these are simple matters 神從天上看 God is looking from heaven 有一些定律是祂為人定的 There are certain laws He has set 當人遵守的時候 When we follow 祂就保留你尊貴的地位 He will preserve your honour 當你不保留的時候，你就墮落下去了 If you don't follow, you will fall from your dignity 上帝是不可輕慢的 God is not to be trifled with 每一次我對你們講道 Sometimes I say to you 我要告訴你基督教跟所有宗教 不同的地方在哪裡 I want to say to you how Christianity is different 我要告訴你歸正的精神跟不是歸正的精神 What it means to be have Reformed spirit 所以我為了這一種事奉 Because of my ministry 我很多的想法跟很多人不一樣的 My thoughts are quite different from many people 但是我盼望我的聽眾可以聽出來 I hope that my audience can understand 什麼叫做 “quality difference” What does it mean 'quality difference' 什麼叫做聖經的權威 authority of scripture 超越一切的一切 transcend all things 到了一百二十幾年以前 120 years ago 瑞士的鐘錶行 The Swiss watch makers 他們開了一次的會議 They had a meeting 定了十二個原則 They had 12 principals 這十二個原則 奠定了瑞士的經濟到今天很強的原因 The establish foundation of Swiss economy 你做手錶的時候 When you make watches 你的彈簧不可以用線來圈的 Your spring cannot be strung with string 你要用很硬的鋼來動的 You must use hard steel 你做螺絲 With the screw 你最尖的地方還要用手去磨 the sharpest point must be ground with your hand 然後再轉進去 To screw in 十二個規條 12 principals 守到今天還在做 They still observe these today 然後你十二個照做了以後 When they follow 他就用一個很重的印把它蓋下去 They will seal the watch 那個叫做 “Geneva Seal” (日內瓦印記) That's 'Geneva seal' Geneva Seal has twelve qualification 有十二個原則 我一個、一個把它讀下來 one by one 我知道這不是普通愛賺錢的人所做的事情 I realised if you're only interested in money you won't do this 這是真正負責任才去研究出來的 Only when you really want to bear your responsibility 今天全世界最多假錶的地方 都是中國做的 Chinese produce the most fake watches 賣到最多假錶用的人都是阿拉伯 and Arabs have many... 那麼有人說呢 In the beginning God create everything 起初上帝創造一切 After that 之後 everything made in China 所有的都是在中國製造的 那麼中國人做的⋯哇！你還要鼓掌喔？ 中國做的連 “牌” 都一樣樣的 Even the. brand looks the same 那你說：你有沒有得到 Copyright (版權)？ Do you have copyright? 中國人說：What is copyright? Chinese says copyright “Copy is right” 所以叫做 “Copyright” Copy就是對的 所以我問你，我們的國家要強盛起來嗎？ How can our country be strong 可能要回想這個事情 We must return to these principals 為什麼德國、瑞士 挪威、丹麥有這樣品質 為什麼呢 Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark 因為他們守住了尊貴、榮耀的倫理 Why the have such quality? Because they held the principles of honour and glory 這是從神來的 These are from God 在香港有一個手錶王 叫做矯大羽 (Kiu Tai Yu，發明第三代陀飛輪錶) In Hong Kong there is a king of watchmakers 我個人認識他 I know him personally 他英文不好，但是做手錶做到世界第一流 He doesn't speak good English but he is world class in making watches 後來瑞士請他去展覽他的手錶 Swaziland invited him to display his pieces 他對我說：我不要去 He said, I don't want to go 因為我的英文不好嘛 I don't speak good English 我給人家輕看 people will ridicule me 後來有一個朋友對他說 A friend said to him 他們要你去，不是因為你英文好 They want you to go, not because of your English 是因為你手錶做得好 because of your watches 那他的手錶真是很好 The watches are very good 因為最難做的手錶叫做「陀飛輪」 Tourbillon is hardest watches to make 中國歷史從來沒有人會做 Chinese history no one can make it 他每年做一個 Every year he makes one 後來名傳到瑞士 and Swiss heard about him 他們說：原來中國人會做那麼好的錶啊 They said, so all the Chinese can make such good watches 就把他列入 Independent watchmaker He became an independent watchmaker 是個別獨立的製錶人 請去的時候 Invite him to Swaziland 一九九三年發生一件很大的事情 In 1993 something major happen 因為 International Watch Company IWC(萬國錶，瑞士鐘錶品牌)你們知道嗎？ In International Watch Maker IWC 發明了叫做 Flying tourbillon They invented the 這個浮動的，不是叫做飛行的 浮動的陀飛輪 a floating tourbillon 那麼在一九九三年日內瓦的展覽的時候 In Geneva in a certain exhibition 他們請了一個交響樂隊來 They invited orchestral 打鑼打鼓慶祝他們發明出來 to celebrate that invention 剛剛慶祝完了以後呢 after the celebration 要發獎狀給他的時候 When the award was to be given 矯大羽出現了 Kiu Tai Yu appeared 他說不單是他發明 He said not only by him 我也有一個浮動的陀飛輪 I have same also floating tourbillon 是一樣樣的 the same 他們說：真的？你也有嗎？拿出來看 They said, are you sure you have? show us 一拿出來看的時候，技術跟 IWC 完全一樣 Exactly the same as IWC 所以他們說：今天獎品不能給那大公司 And then, we cannot give that award to that company 所以把那個獎品分成兩半 一半給那個大公司、一半給這個中國人 They divided the award to two one for the company, one for this man 矯大羽是上海製錶廠的廠長 He's the head of Shanghai watchmaking company 他的妻子是從印尼娶過去的 His wife is from Indonesia 所以我跟他談的時候 When I spoke with him 他一談就跟我談幾個鐘頭 He speaks for hours with me 現在他腦有瘤、已經有毛病了 Now he has a tumor in his brain 但是他有一個好朋友在台灣 He has a good friend in Taiwan 也會做陀飛輪 who can also make the same watch 但是程度不能相比 But the quality is not comparable 那麼，這個人叫做王進龍 His name is Wang Jin Long 他寫了一本手錶的藝術 一千多面 (《鐘錶藝術》，2002出版) He wrote a book about watch art 把最好的錶解釋得很清楚 to explain the best watches 有一天他問我：我問你喔！唐牧師 One day he asked me, I asked you Rev. Tang 為什麼日內瓦的人他做手錶 The Geneva people 精細到一個地步 Why are they so presiding their watches making 連像頭髮那樣小的螺絲釘 Even a screw as small as hair 鑽進去鎖定了以後呢 When it is screwed 沒有人會再開的、沒有人會看見的 No one will ever open it, no one will check 它的頂尖到用手磨的很利、很滑才放進去 They will smoothen it with their own hands 在那個螺絲釘轉進去的小洞裡面 有誰在那邊看呢？ Who will watch at that little hole there 沒有人查、沒有人看 No one will check, no one will see 為什麼要磨到那麼好呢？ Why does he need to be so precise 我說：因為上帝在看 I said, because God is watching 他說：上帝躲在那邊做什麼？ You mean God is hiding there 他不是基督徒 He is not a Christian 我說，因為這是改教的精神 This is the spirit of the Reformation No matter what you do, you do it for God 我們今天很多事情是做給人看 In many areas we do it for men 所以人看我們就裝的好一點 Always when people looking, we do our best 人一不在我們就亂七八糟 But nobody looking we don't do it 當我在科隆大禮拜堂 Cologne Cathedral 是世界最偉大禮拜堂之一 It's one of the largest cathedrals in the world 那個時候我三十七歲 I was 37 我用我的腳爬樓⋯現在爬一定掉下來死掉 I can't do that anymore but I climbed up the steps back then 五百十二個階梯 512 steps 到了最高的地方的時候 In the highest point 我從裡面出來 I emerged from the building 因為上面還有差不多最少四十公尺的鐵塔 at least 40 meters from the highest point 哇，我已經在最高的地方 上面還有夠高的塔是爬不上去的 I was on the highest point but I couldn't reach 我在那裡站了許久、許久 I stood there for a long time 最後我量 I measured 這個沒有人可以看到的那麼高的地方 The highest point and no one can see 每一個尺寸是完全一樣的 Every dimension is perfect 沒有一個鐵跟另外一個鐵距離是不一樣的 The distances between the pieces are all identical 在東方的建築就不是如此 You don't see these in Eastern architecture 看的地方給你做的好看 What you can see they do their best 看不見的地方做得歪歪的 What you cannot see they don't do that 長短不一樣的 The dimensions 但是德國人幾百年前就不是這樣 are not systematic. But the Germans will not like that many hundreds years ago 科隆大禮拜堂從十三世紀開始 In Cologne Cathedral, from 13th century onwards 十六世紀還沒有建好 by the 16th century 十八世紀才建好 competed in the 18th century 前後建了五百多年才建好 they built, the spent 500 years to built it 上面那兩個塔 The two ______ at the top 是在改教以後才建的 were built after the Reformation 他們那個精神已經進去了 The spirit has influence them 我如果研究尊貴、榮耀 When I study honour and glory 我的心非常興奮 I feel deeply excited 因為只有人才有這個觀念 because this is what it means to be human 因為人本來就應當像上帝 Because we ought to be like God 所以上帝的公義在我們本性裡面應當有份 So His righteousness should be shown in us 上帝的慈愛在我們本性裡面應當有份 His love should be seen in our nature 上帝的聖潔在我們心裡應當有份 His holiness to be in our heart 那麼墮落是什麼呢？ What is the fall 墮落就是已經「失去」了這些尊貴 is to say that we have lost all this honour 失去了這些榮耀 We have lost the glory 連位份也失去了 We have lost our position 連方向也失去了 We have lost our direction 所以如果我現在向著光走去 If I walk in the direction of the light 我的影子一定是在後面 My shadow will be behind me 對不對呢？ Is that right 如果我現在看見影子在我前面 If I shadow is before me 表示光已經在我後面了 It means the light source is behind me 現在我用很簡單的問話問你 A simple example 整個人類所看見的前景是光明或者黑暗？ The future of humanity is bleak or bright 你回答我 Is it dark or bright 我們全人類所看見前面的光景 是光明的或者是黑暗的？ The road ahead does it look good or bad 是黑暗的 It looks dark 你還不承認，你已經離開上帝了 You still do not acknowledge you've departed from God 所以罪是什麼？ What is sin 罪是「位份的轉移」 It's to have shifted from your position 罪是什麼？ 罪是「方向的轉移」 change your direction 我們離開了上帝 We have departed from God 我們與上帝的光背道而馳 We have gone away from the light of God 所以聖經以賽亞書告訴我們 Isaiah says 我終日伸手呼喚背道的人回來 I'm keep calling up the lost to come back 你們回到我面前來吧 Come back to me 兒啊！你要歸向我 My son comes to me 全本聖經的主題 The theme of the entire Bible 就是人的罪與耶穌基督的救贖 is sin of man and the salvation of Jesus 全本聖經裡面上帝對我們講的話 The message that God has for us 就是：回來吧！歸向我吧！ is to return, come back to me 人啊！你走向滅亡去了 All men, you are going to destruction 你回到我面前來 come back to me 亞當背叛的時候 When Adam sin 神呼召他 God said 浪子回頭的時候 When the prodigal son sin 父親要他回來 came back 歸回上帝 The father want him to come back 我們的理性歸回真理的時候 Come back to God, when our mind go back to God 我說這叫做信仰 It's faith 那這個定義你別的書是看不見的 You don't see this definition else ways Your reasoning power is obeying and return to God's truth 當你的理性歸回上帝的真理 That is call "faith" 那就是信心 當你的感情、你流浪的感情 歸回上帝的聖愛的時候，這個叫做信仰 When your way what emotion is returns to God holy love that is love Your practical will, practical emotion practical reasoning return to the truth of God return to the holy love of God return to the will of God That is called faith 信心是什麼？ What's faith 信心不是 “我信” It's not to say I believe 信心不是我信 or I believe 信心不是受一個洗、我信 or I get baptised 那都是儀式 These are ceremonies 那都是不關重要的事情 not that important 信心就是「歸回」 Faith is the return 理性歸回真理 Our reason returns to the truth 感情歸回聖愛 Emotions returned his holy love 意志歸回上帝的旨意 we're returns to his holy will 你的整個生命面向上帝 Then your life faces God 上帝造人的時候 我們的 “面” 是有方向的 Our face was toward him 我們的後面是沒有眼睛的 Our beck has no eyes 後面是沒有鼻子的 no noses 這個使你睡覺的時候比較舒服 So you sleep better this way 不但是如此 Not only so 告訴你是有「方向」的人 It tells you that there is direction in your life 昨天吧 Yesterday 我在博物館問一個中國的女學生 I asked a female lady in the museum 你知道希臘的雕像最大的毛病在哪裡？ You know the greatest flaw in Greek sculptures 這些唸藝術的人不能回答我 It's who study art cannot answer me 因為無論藝術、無論建築我有自己的思考 I have my own thought in art and architecture 是很深入的 very deep thoughts 很創新的 very creative thoughts 而且你沒有辦法跟我隨便辯論的 You cannot debate with any way you want 她說：我不知道是什麼 She said, I don't know 西臘的雕像 The Greek sculptures 是世界最美的雕像 there are the most beautiful in the world 你注意看Venus De Milo Apollo Belvedere 還有許多最美的雕像 它超越羅丹的 (Auguste Rodin, 1840-1917) Rodin 超越米開朗基羅的 (Michelangelo, 1475-1564) Michelangelo 從「美」的觀念來看 For the perspective of beauty 絕對標準 It's perfect 毫無瑕疵的 No flaws 但是我發現有一個東西沒有 But I realise there is a flaw 這個東西是什麼呢？ What is that flaw? 沒有方向的 No direction 沒有意義的、沒有 “Telos” No meaning, No telos 希臘文 “Telos” 就是最後的目的 Telos means ultimate purpose 你最後的目的是什麼？ what's your ultimate purpose 希臘雕像很漂亮，美得不得了 They look beautiful, so beautiful 那結果要做什麼呢？ What does it do 就是我等你來娶我啊 Oh come marry me 你看我這麼美麗，你不愛我嗎？ I'm so beautiful come marry me 除此以外還有什麼呢？沒有了 no other purpose 但是你看大衛的雕像的時候 But David's sculpture 他站在那邊 He stands there 他拿著機弦 要把石頭丟到 about to throw the stone with a slingshot 歌利亞那邊的時候 throw to Goliath 你看他的眼神 Look at his face 他有一個目標 with a direction 他人生不是沒有目的的 He has a purpose in life 他雖然身體小小的 although his body was small 他要把最大的巨人打下來才甘願 He want to defeat the greatest giant 這就是基督教給人帶來的文化的刺激 This is the cultural stimulation from Christianity 當文化沒有前途的時候 When there's no future in culture 這個文化就是低級的 This culture is lowly 美國的文化已經很低級了 American culture is very lowly now 因為美國人以 “市場導向” Because they are, Americans are market oriented Market-oriented culture You need only money You only want to make your economic system strong that is not final purpose 你只是要錢、只是要經濟而已 文化最後的目的是什麼呢？ The ultimate purpose of culture 就把神為我們定的旨意把它達到 It is to achieve the will that God has prepared for us 這個就需要 “犧牲” You need sacrifice 這個需要 “執著” You need to be steadfast 需要堅持 You need to be persevered 那麼這就要有原則在裡面 You need to have principle 今天的大學教的學生有學術而沒有道德 Many students in universities they have academic qualification no morality 今天的軍事有技術、有最高的技術 而沒有戰鬥的目的 The armies have technologies but they don't have the purpose for warfare 今天做總統的人盼望越多的選民選他 The president 他能做總統他就叫做成功 They want more people to vote for them they can be a president 這成為我們今天文化膚淺的記號 That's how shallow our culture is 這是很可怕的事 This is horrifying 我不知道美國要到哪裡去 I don't know where America is heading for 美國前面的前途在哪裡呢？ The road ahead. What is it for us? 人類前途 the future ahead 就是面向上帝為我們定的旨意 is to be towards the will that God has prepared for us 遵行上帝的心意 is to follow the will of God 這個人就進到天國裡面去了 Then he will enter the kingdom of heaven 所有的強盜 All the robbers 他都為了搶東西、發財活著 They all live for money 直到十字架旁邊那個強盜 The only a robber beside Christ 他離開另外一個強盜 And after having left the other robber 他看到耶穌的國度 He saw the kingdom of Jesus 這是耶穌在世界上所做的傳道的工作 到最後，唯一了解上帝國度的人 That was the only person who believed in understood the kingdom of God at that time 今天早上我講了這個事情 This morning I talked about this 彼得到最後一天不知道「上帝的國」 Peter in the last moment didn't know about the kingdom of God 雅各不知道上帝的國 James didn't know about the kingdom of God 約翰不知道上帝的國 John didn't know about the kingdom 等到耶穌升天的時候 At His ascension 他們還在問 「祢復興以色列國就在今天嗎？」 They still ask are you going to restore the kingdom of Israel today? 你看到人的可悲的現象嗎？ Do you see how pathetic we are? 你美國人注意美國 the Americans take consider about America 中國人注意中國 Chinese about China 日本人注意日本國 Japanese about Japan 德國人注意德國 Germans about Germany 但是這個強盜說 But the robber said 「祢得國降臨的時候，求祢記念我」 When your kingdom comes, please remember me 他的觀念已經超過國際的平面 His concept transcender international boundaries 他已經看到一個永恆的國度 He saw an eternal Kingdom 這個強盜是很卑賤的 This robber was lowly 但是他的動機跟目的是很高尚的 but his motive was honourable 他求上帝的國度來臨 He asked for the kingdom of God come 他找到人生真正的意義了 He found a true meaning of life 今天我們為什麼到美國來？ Why are we in America? 今天我們在這裡為什麼找這一份的工作？ Why are we looking for a job like that? 很多人是找一個更好的生活 People wanted a better 找一個安定的生活 a better livelihood 可以買一個更好的房子 Buy a bigger house 更漂亮的車 a better car 過一個更安定的生活 a more stable life 然後這就是你人生的目的嗎？ Is that all there is to your life 你不但要回到上帝面前 not only must return to God 你要知道罪還有很多的因素 You must understand the sin has many different elements 罪不但是「位份」的事情 It's not just departure from your status 罪不但是「方向的轉移」 or change your direction 罪還有什麼事情呢？ What else is sin all about? 罪還有上帝標準我們要去達到 It's also about meeting God's standards 所以聖經裡面 「罪」這個字，希臘文用 “hamartia” The Greek use the word, 還有 “adikia (不義)” 這兩個重要的字 'hamartia' to describe sin 「不義」是 “adikia” 'adikia' is to be unrighteous 「失去標準」這個叫做 “hamartia (罪)” to lose the mark, to miss the mark is harmartia. 當一個箭射出去的時候 When the archer shoot an arrow 你應當面向 target (靶) 發出去 You should face towards the target 但是當你不到 target 掉下來的時候 When you miss the target and it fall to the ground. 人就呼喊說：“hamartia” You said 'hamartia' You missed the target 如果你超過那個目標的時候 If you go beyond the taget 人家照樣說 “hamartia” We still say 'hamartia' 因為你超越了標準 You gone beyond the standard 所以你不能不達到神的標準 so you must fulfill God's standards 你也不能超越基督的教訓 You cannot surpass His teachings "not enough" and "over" 「不及」及「過分」都是罪惡 to fall short of or go beyond They are all having missed the mark 我們中國人批評一個人的時候 When the Chinese criticised someone 這個人做人做得太 “不夠” 了 He says this prison is inadequate 什麼意思呢？ What does it mean? 你沒有達到標準 You haven't met the standard 所以用 “你不夠” 來形容你的罪 So we say you're falling short 第二種是什麼？ Second we are saying 這個人做人做得太 “過份” 了 Oh you are too much 奇怪齁 不夠也不對 Fall short not good 過分也不對 too much also not good 應該說，我如果五塊錢才對 四塊叫做不夠、六塊有找一塊嘛 Five dollars is standard 它有多一塊嘛！ four or six 不是不行 are all wrong 你「不夠」你是犯罪 If you are fallen short, that sin 你「過分」你也是犯罪 You are too much, you have sinned 所以從聖經的總原則來看 So from the unified principle of subscription 罪所表現出來的不是單單行為的問題 Sin is not just manifested in our doing 罪表現出來更重要的是「動機」的問題 More importantly is the question of the motive 所以如果你心地不好 If your heart is wrongful 動機錯誤 if the motives are wrong 你不能討上帝的喜悅 You cannot please God 因為人是看外貌 Because people look at appearances 上帝是看內心的 (撒母耳記上 16:7) God looks into your heart 你存心不良，你做了什麼事都沒有用 The motives are evil everything is wrong 在兩百年以前 200 years ago 法國革命的時候有一句話 In the French Revolution there was something that was said 它說：不要佩服慈善家 Do not admire the philanthropist 因為慈善家的慈善動機不是慈善的 Because their motives are not good 那時候有一個名詞叫做 “summum bonum” 'summum bonum' was the term used 這個是哲學的名詞 “summum” 就是「最高」的意思 'summum' means highest 那麼 “bonum” 就是「良善」的意思 'bonum' means good "summum bonum" means "the highest good" 那 what is "the highest good"? 什麼是至高的良善呢？ Highest good is good itself, which beyond good there is nothing beyond 就是沒有比它更良善的 沒有更良善的東西 Nothing is better 所以至高的良善 so the highest good 至本身就是至高的良善 It is the highest good itself 你不能把至高的良善 當作是一個手段、一個工具 然後去達到另外一個目的 Highest good cannot be a means by which you achieve other purposes 如果你把「善」當作工具的話 If you use goodness as a tool 不但你不善 Not only are you not good 你所做的一切也不善 Everything you do is not good 你把善當作工具的話 If you use good as a tool 你是利用善做不善的事情 You are using goodness to do evil 所以 “summum bonum” 的意思 So the term means 就是 You cannot use anything to be your means to achieve another goal 你不可以用任何的事成為你的工具 來達成你的目標 今天所謂聰明的人 Those who were so called clever, 常常把人當作工具 they use others as tools 把很多看起來好的東西當作工具 They use good things as tools 去達到他所要達到的事情 to achieve their goals 那個時候呢、法國大革命的時候 In the French revolution 他們說這種人是不良善的 They said these people are not good 所以你不要佩服慈善家 很多慈善家 是比較有遠大眼光的最自私的人 They are just selfish people who have more foresight 他們做一些的好事 They do some good works 因為他看出來了 Because he can see 我做這個好事以後報酬得到更大的收穫 now I do this good I will reap reward many fold 這些人不過是一個投資者 These people are just investors 而且是一個 “投機” 的投資者 the speculative investors 是一個不誠實的投資者 dishonest investors 他們看起來做好事 They seem to be good 他們根本不是好的 but they are not good 所以這個跟 “Paradox” 是完全不一樣的 So it's different from Paradox 所以這個世界是一個似是而非的世界 And this world many things seem right but they are wrong 而神給我們的「道」是似非而是的道 God's words seem wrong but it is right 你看起來不對的是對的 What things to be wrong, it is right 你要謹慎去追求 You must be cautious 你看起來是對的而是不對的 What seems to be right, can be wrong 你要勇敢把它丟棄掉 You must abandon this 這樣你就離開墮落線 Then you depart from falling 慢慢回到神為你預備的地方 come before God 那麼人原先是尊貴的 In our original status 後來人變成墮落了 We are glorious then we failed 而這件事情在創世記第三章 令人深思、非常疑惑的事情是什麼呢？ We can think about it deeply from Genesis chapter 3 你知道人所明白的藝術裡面 In art, human art 最高的藝術 The highest form of art 其實就是人的身體 is the human body 所以 human body is most beautiful line 人體是最美的曲線 beautiful image 最美的形象 God created a human being 是按照祂的形像樣式造的 According to His image and likeness 當然這句話應當從靈界的、看不見的去想 From a spiritual perspective you think about this 但是連看得見的 But even from the 上帝也造人造成最美、最美的身體 physical perspective God created the most beautiful body 但是我感到很奇怪的 I found it quite strange 為什麼最美的東西是不可以人家看的 the most beautiful things, people can't see it 要穿衣服蓋起來 We need to wear clothes 我告訴你，文化沒有辦法解決這個問題 Culture cannot resolve this No even one culture can explain why the most beautiful at masterpiece should be clothes? 文化不能解釋為什麼我們需要穿衣服 來遮蓋我們的美呢？ 我的小孩子兩歲的時候 My son when he was 2 years old 他在游泳池裡面：我要小便！ He said, I want to pee in a swimming pool 那我說：你去小便吧 I said go 他就跑到廁所小便，再去游泳 He went to the toilet and then came back 但是呢，很多人說 Many people say 不必了，就在那邊小便好了 Doesn't matter just do it there 所以你游泳到一半，你大腿變得熱熱的 So if you warm in your thighs 你們笑，大概你有經驗了 Maybe you've done it before 那麼別人就小便在你旁邊 so other people will pee 哎喲！為什麼熱熱的？有熱水來了 Why do I feel warm 原來不是熱水，是人撒尿在你的腿邊 you are urinated in the pool 這些人不誠實 These are not honest 他們也不跑掉 They don't run away 那我那個孩子 That son of mine 現在他是物理學博士 now he's a PhD in physics 他又要拿另外一個神學博士 He will get a PhD in theology 他一歲半的時候 When he was one and an half 要換褲子的時候 When he was about to change shorts 我說你這麼小就在這裡換？ I said you just do it here 我說不可以 He say no 他一定乖乖規規矩矩跑到廁所換了再出來 He go to the toilet do it and then come back 那我想：誰教他的齁？ Who taught him 怎麼這麼小的孩子 Even at such young age 這麼一塊、一吋的肉都不可以給人家看？ Even a little bit you cannot let people see 他怎麼會這樣呢？ How could he? 我說現在換了、沒有時間了 Just do it now 他說：爸爸怎麼可以這樣 Father 他一定跑到裡面去換 I must go to the toilet 規規矩矩的換 do it properly 為什麼同樣肉，這邊可以曬太陽 The same piece of meat I can expose to the Sun 這邊可以曬太陽、那一塊不可以曬呢？ I can expose it to the Sun But that piece must be hidden 是誰規定的呢？ Who set this law 這是很奇怪的事情 It's the strange thing 所以我一直在想這個問題 I kept thinking 為什麼身體這麼美 The people body is so beautiful 一定要把它蓋起來呢？ but you must be covered 為什麼有羞恥感呢？ Why do we have a sense of shame? 這個叫做 “衣服的文化” The culture of clothes “遮體的文化” of covering ourselves 這個從哪裡來呢？ Where did this come from 法國不會告訴你 the French won't tell you 德國不會告訴你 the German won't tell you 佛教不會告訴你 Buddhism won't tell you 印度教不會告訴你 Hinduism won't tell you 只有聖經告訴你 On the Bible says 亞當、夏娃犯罪以後 After Adam and Eve sinned 他就發現自己不可以的、怎麼會赤身露體 They discovered that they were naked 所以他就躲起來了 They wanted to hide themselves 破壞大自然從創世記第三章開始 From Genesis 3 there was environmental damage 現在我們有 Green movements (綠色運動) Now we have 'Green movements' 我們有 Greenpeace (綠色和平組織) Greenpeace 我們要保護大自然 Protect the environment 不可以隨便破壞大自然 We don't want to damage the world 在新加坡，你把一棵樹砍下來 In Singapore, if you cut a tree 幾乎政府要砍掉你的頭了 The government almost behead you 因為不可以破壞大自然的 Because you cannot damage the environment 那麼為什麼不可以破壞大自然？ Why can't you do that 因為神規定的 Because God set the law 「你要修理看守這個伊甸園」 You have dominion over the garden 但是為了犯罪的緣故呢 But because of sin 不得不要把樹把它折斷了 the tree had to be cut 把樹葉編成裙子 You have leaves 把自己遮蓋起來 to cover yourself 為什麼要遮蓋起來？ Why did they have to do that 因為「罪」發生了 Because sin has 因為犯罪了 come upon them 犯罪了以後呢，你一定破壞大自然 After sin, you will damage the world 犯罪了以後，你一定感到羞恥 After sin, you will feel shameful 犯罪以後，你一定遮住你的身體 After sin, you want to cover yourself 上帝說：亞當你在哪裡？ God says, Adam where are you “我在園中行走” I'm walking in the garden “聽見祢的聲音我就懼怕了” I heard your voice, I was afraid 你為什麼懼怕我？ Why are you afraid? 莫非你吃了我吩咐你不可以吃的果子嗎？ Have you eaten that forbidden fruit 他沒有辦法回答 he couldn't answer 為什麼從那一天開始 From that day onwards 人要穿衣服 Why do we have to wear clothes 是因為人怕冷嗎？ Is it because we're afraid of the cold 熱帶一點也不冷 It's not cold here 如果能夠，連皮都脫下來 You wanna tear off skin 因為太熱了 Because it's so hot 但是你還要穿衣服 But you still wear clothes 我告訴你 違背這個定律的人就是違背文化 If you disobey this law you disobey cultures 這是聖經定的規矩 Set by the Bible 前不久我得到一個消息 Not long ago I heard 德國有一些 “天體運動” 的 In Germany there are some movement 你知道天體運動嗎？ “naked movement” 現在他們幾個特別的地方 是特別從前定下來只有裸體可以進去的 There are certain places where are reserved for naked people to go 現在沒有人要去了 Nobody wants to go now 那些喜歡裸體的人 those wanna be naked 四十年前很年輕 40 years ago they were young 所以進到裡面，個個很好看 They're good figures 但是其他不要來⋯他們一直在裡面 They kept going 40 years ago 現在四十年以後 40 years on 兩粒奶都垂下來了 Breasts are sagging 肉都垂下來 The flesh are sagging 難看的不得了 So ugly 年輕的要不要進去看？ The young people don't want to go 不要、不好看 they don't want to see this 年輕人想我進去我給你 The young will say let me display mine 我這麼好看給你看 mine is much better 你那麼難看我要看 Yours are ugly, I don't want to see it “我才不要看呢” I don't want to see that 所以你贊成也好 So whether you agree or not 一定消滅 It will disappeared 為什麽呢？ 因為違背上帝的道 Because it goes against the law of God 違背上帝規定的旨意 The Word of God 我告訴你同性戀的人怎麼解答呢？ How do the homosexual 很多人開始很緊張了 They got tension 其實我有一個辦法 I have a method 把一個島 You demarcated Islands 送給那同性戀的人 reserved for the homosexuals 所有同性戀都進到那個島 Let all the homosexuals go there 過五十年以後 50 years later 他們就慢慢老、慢慢死 They will grown old, they will die 生不出一個孩子來 They can't produce a child 他們就自動消滅了 They will be extincted 就很簡單的事情嘛，對不對呢？ A simple law 今天我們要為他們爭戰 You say I want to fight for them 他們要自由 We want freedom 你是去死啊 Oh you will die 自由的結局就是自殺 Result of freedom is suicide 自由的原因就是自我 because you're selfish 自我！我不要你管 You're selfish, you don't want 祢上帝不要管我 you don't want God rule over you 我有自我 I want to be myself 你要什麼？ “我要自由” What do you want? I want freedom 上帝說你要自由，我送你自殺 God says, you want freedom, I give you suicide 你會自己死的 You will die yourself 人不能違背上帝 We cannot go against God 順天者什麼？昌 If you follow God's ways, you will prosperous 逆天者什麼？亡 If you go against him? You perish 這些不但我們古老的哲學已經講了 Not only the ancient philosophers said these 聖經隱藏了一切 You see this in the scripture 求主幫助我們 May God help us 給我們因為聖經的教導 Because of the Bible teachings 我們思想我們原先的地位是尊貴的 We think about our original honourable status 是榮耀的 Our glorious 我們承認我們現在是墮落的 We acknowledge that we are fallen 我們怎麼知道我現在墮落了？ How do I know I'm fallen 因為我們良心告訴我們：我們不對了 My conscience tells me I'm wrong 我們沒有一個人的良心 是沒有責備我們自己的罪惡的 Not one of us will not have our conscience rebuking us 上帝用良心做代表 The conscience represents God 良心做審判官 To judge us 所以我現在把一個挪威博士論文講給你聽 So I say to you a thesis from Norway 寫這個論文的人叫做 Dr. Hallesby (哈列斯比，1879-1961) By Dr. Hallesby 這個 Hallesby 是很著名的人 He was a famous man 他是一個大神學家 a major theologian 這個人說呢，當你還沒有犯罪以前 He said, before you sin 上帝的代表對你講一句話 The representative of God would say to you 不要做 Do not do it 請你不要做 Please, you must not do it 不要做！ Don't do it 那麼那個時候你可以有兩個反應 At that point you can have two responses 你說：OK You said OK. 好 I agree with you 我同意你 I don't do it 我就不做了 I obey you 我就順從你 I stop my freedom here 我就停止我的自由 這是第一個反應 That is the first response 第二個反應是什麼呢？ Second response Please do not intervene me 不要干預我 I am a person 我是一個人 I must be free 我要自由 I want to rebel you 我要背叛 所以你一背叛的時候 when you rebel 第二步驟是什麼？ the next step 上帝的代表：良心 The representative of God 它就變成睡覺了 The conscience were then going to slumber 你去做吧 You go to do it 我就去睡了 I go to sleep 所以它讓你自由了 He lets you have freedom 你要做你去做吧！ Go do what you want 我去睡覺 I'll go asleep 因為我已經警告你了 I've warned you 我現在不管你了 I won't care about you 你要做你去做吧 他去睡覺了以後呢 When after he goes to sleep 你就感到很自由了 you feel free no interference 沒有人干預我 no interruption 沒有人阻止我 I'm totally free, I enjoy my freedom 我就享受我的自由 而你正在做的時候 When you're doing it 沒有人管你 And no one cares about you 做完了以後 After you have done it 你沒有想到 You don't realise 那個 conscience That conscience 從 warning 從警告 become sleeping 到沉睡 and now awake up 現在甦醒了 第三步驟是什麼？ The next step 他跳到審判臺前 He would jump onto the seat of judgment You have already committed sin 你已經犯罪了 他的面孔非常兇惡 He looks very stern with you 非常嚴峻 very angry 聲音非常大的對你說 and angrily to you 「你有罪了！」 You have sinned 而這個是 Hallesby 的良心論 博士論文的三步驟 Then these are the three steps of his theses of conscience Warning prior to sleeping 沉睡前就是警告 After sleeping, judgment 沉睡之後就是審判 你知道你的良心有這三大功用嗎？ Do you know these three rules of your conscience 我看了他的論文以後 After I read his theses 我再查考聖經 And then read the Bible 後來我發現不是三個功用 I realised not three steps 是七個功用 There are 7 rules 我今天不講自己的 I won't go through all of these 因為我們的時間不夠了 Because we don't have enough time 所以當你是一個人的時候 If you are human 你的良心是上帝的代表 your conscience is God's representative 你的良心告訴你 your conscience tells you 你有罪了 你沒有辦法逃避它 You can't depart from him 你更沒辦法賄賂它 You cannot bribe him 你有多少錢，良心不算你的帳 Regardless of how wealthy conscience will not be bribed by you 它根本不看這些東西 They won't look at these things 它就是照著上帝創造它的責任 來警告你、來審判你 By base on the duty that God has created conscience with you will be judged 親愛的弟兄姊妹 我怎麼知道我是墮落的呢？ 因為我是有良心的人 Because I have the conscience with me 良心是警告我 It warms me 良心是審判我 It judges me 良心是「見證」我是墮落的 It will bear testimony to my fallenness 不但如此，上帝的道是一面鏡子 The Bible is also a mirror 雅各書告訴我們 一個人聽見上帝的道 after you listen to the Word of God 好像面對鏡子一樣 It's like facing a mirror 看見自己的污穢 you look at your own filth 今天你沒有來以前 Before you come 你有沒有照鏡子啊？ Do you look into the mirror 有沒有？ 你們有沒有照鏡子啊？ 你們一定照鏡子了 Of course you did 因為如果你不照鏡子 If you did not 可能這裡一粒飯 Maybe there's a grain of rice here 可能這裡一隻蒼蠅，死的 or a fly here, a dead fly 可能這個衣服鈕扣鈕不對了 Or your button is not button properly 你怎麼見人呢？ how would you face people 我告訴你啊 What I said to you 當你看鏡子的時候 When you look into the mirror 你的動機是不誠實的 Your motive is not honest 沒有一個人看鏡子是要 “看鏡子” No one really wants to look at the mirror 這一件事情人都不誠實 You're not honest in this matter 你看鏡子，唉喲！鏡子這麼大、這麼漂亮 Oh this mirror is so beautiful 沒有 你看鏡子不是要看鏡子 You don't want to look at the mirror 你要從鏡子看到你自己的影射 You look into the mirror at your own refraction 所以結果呢，你看完了以後 你不能告訴人家鏡子多骯髒 You cannot say to others how dirty the mirror is. 因為那個你都看不見 Because you can't see that 你是透到裡面看自己 But you look into it, yourself 當你看到你自己的時候 When you see yourself 你知道這裡不整齊 You know that this is not tidy 這裡骯髒 This is dirty 這個地方有毛病 There is a problem here 你就可以修改你自己 Then you can make adjustments 如果你看鏡子可以修改自己的話 If you can make adjustments to yourself based on your reflections the Bible says 為什麼你聽上帝的道你沒有悔改？ Why you not repent after listening to God's words 你為什麼聽上帝的道你沒有悔改？ You listen to His words, and you don't repent 因為你喜歡聽講好話的牧師 Because you like to listen to preachers who say nice things I say to you 講好話的牧師可能不是上帝的僕人 Pastors who say nice things may not be servants of God 凡是不是上帝的僕人、又愛講好話的 今天聽了這句話快快悔改 Servants of God who are ______, you must repent, if that is you 因為上帝的僕人 Servants of God 一定用真實教導你 will teach you with the truth 一定誠實把你的毛病講出來 Honestly point out your errors 否則他不是上帝的僕人 Otherwise he is not a servant of God 前不久我在雅加達對八千個人講道 Some time ago I preached to 8000 people in Jakarta. 我說，當一個時代 I said in the era 還有上帝的僕人 指責政府的罪、百姓的罪時候 表示上帝還愛那個國家 God is still loving the people if He still has servants of Him who points out the mistakes of people 如果一個時代已經沒有這種人 講出人類的毛病的話 If no such person rebukes the errors of mankind 表示上帝要把那個國家、那個時代拋棄 It means God is gonna abandon a nation or that generation 上帝把真理賜給我們 God has given us the truth 把道賜給我們 the Word 就給我們看見我們的敗壞 Then we can see our own filth 我們的罪惡 Our sinfulness 我們的虧欠、我們的錯失 How we are fallen short, how we are gone wrong 看完了以後 and after that 你就把鏡子打破嗎？ Do you just smash the mirror 你是笨到這個地步 Then you will be so foolish 因為鏡子把真相告訴你 Because the mirror will tell you the truth 是要你悔改 So that you can repent 你不可以恨鏡子 You cannot hate the mirror 你不可以打破它 You can't smash the mirror 所以一個真正有智慧的人 A truly wise person 求諸自己、發現自己的毛病 will make discover, will demand on himself 自己悔改離開罪惡 You will discover about himself and repent 我怎麼知道我墮落呢？ 因為良心告訴我 Because my conscience tells me 我是有罪的 I'm sinful 因為上帝的道告訴我 The Word of God tells me so I have fallen 因為今天社會的敗壞告訴我 “我墮落了” All the social decadence tells me so 我們看見我們的四周 We look around you 越來越多古里古怪、不應當有的事情 More and more strange things are happening 孟子講一句話 Mencius said 「國之將興，必有禎祥」 for a nation to prosper 一定有好的兆頭 there must be a good ruler. 國之將亡，必見妖孽 When the nation declines, you will see the devil. 今天的社會妖怪比人多 there are more devils than humans in the society 你還不承認人類的文化已經墮落了嗎？ You still don't realise that we are so fallen 你還不承認你自己已經墮落了嗎？ That you yourself are fallen 我有一次在荷蘭 In the Netherlands 看見一個女孩子 I saw a lady 畫紅、畫黑、還有幾鬚 我說這是人或者貓呢？ so much cosmetics, like a cat 「哈哈⋯」大家笑她 Everybody laugh at her 突然間那條街道 很多人都對這個女人「哈哈哈」一直笑她 Everybody was laughing at her 笑完了以後，這個女孩子怎麼樣呢？ And this lady 她不但不感到什麼事 she didn't feel anything 挺胸再走 She just walk proudly 大家再笑 everybody laugh again 笑到最後她受不了，自己笑自己 In the end she couldn't take it, she laughs at herself 笑自己的時候 When she laughs at herself 我說：欸？貓也會笑自己喔 Even a cat can laughs at itself 我感到太古怪了 That's so strange 今天的社會太古怪了 The world today is so weird 今天這個時代太古怪了 This generation is weird 你在政治界裡面看見很多古怪 even in politics 你在音樂界裡面看見很多古怪 even in music you see these 好的音樂不要 People don't want good music 古里古怪的音樂 They like strange music 很奇怪的東西 weird things 一個、一個出現 These things are emerging 這個社會沒有救藥了 This society has, is incorrigible 因為這個社會也證明人已經墮落了 It shows that we are fallen 除此以外 Apart from this 還有什麼東西證明我們是已經墮落的呢？ What other things tell us we are fallen 你注意一下 Take note of it 不但社會敗壞 Social decadence 人心黑暗 Human darkness 道德淪落 social decadent, moral decadent 我告訴你，你心裡面 有一個「罪權」的控訴 In your heart there is an accusation 你說：我願意做好 You said, I want to be good 我做不出來 But I can't do it 我不願意做的不好 I don't want to be bad 偏偏做出來 but I keep doing evil 裡面的「權柄」大過你的自由 This authority in your heart, it's beyond your freedom 你說我要做好事的時候 I want to do good 有一個力量控制著我 but there is force that control me 就證明你是墮落的 This shows that you have fallen 兩百五十年以前 250 years ago 德國的哲學家康德講一句話 (Immanuel Kant, 1724~1804) Immanuel Kant from a German philosopher 他說自由不是你要做什麼你就做什麼 He said, freedom is not about doing whatever you want 很多人：為什麼這個不自由？ I said what is this? Anything I want to do, I can do it 我要做什麼就做，就是自由啊 This is freedom 這是自由 他說：No He said no That is not freedom 這不是自由 If anything you want to do you can do it 如果你要做的都能做 That is barbarian 這就是野蠻 那不是自由，是野蠻 Not freedom, Barbarism 你要做什麼就做什麼 你這個人到底有什麼規範？ There are not boundaries in your character 你用什麼原則呢？ No principles at all you do whatever you want 你這個叫做野蠻 This is barbarianism 所以人家問他說：那你看自由是什麼？ Then people asked what do you mean by freedom 他講一句 Paradox (反合性) 的話 He had a paradoxical statement 自由是什麼？ What is freedom 你不要做什麼 Whatever you don't want to do 你就能力不做你不要做的 You are able to refrain from doing If you do not want to do anything 你不要做的 You have the power to restrict yourself and do not do it 你有能力約束自己不做 那個才叫做自由 That's true freedom 哇，當我教哲學教到康德的時候 When I teach philosophy about Immanuel Kant 我看到這一點呢 When I read it 我感到康德實在是一個大思想家 I thought he is such a great thinker 他的想法跟人不一樣的 His thought is so different 我們已經習慣這樣想法 We are so use to thinking in same way 所以跟我們想法不一樣，我們說都錯了 We say that this is so weird, it's wrong 康德講了這個話以後 When Immanuel Kant said this 給世界很大的啟發 He inspired many people in the world Freedom is not what you want to do, you can do it 自由不是你要做什麼就做 That's exactly contradictory 這是違背的 You have power to restrict to do it 你有能力約束自己不去做 你這個自由才是自由 That is true freedom 所以耶穌基督說 我實實在在告訴你 truly I say to you 所有犯罪的人 all who have sinned 都是「罪的奴僕」 they all are slaves of sin All who have sinned 都是罪的奴僕 they are slaves of sin 你吸菸 If you are smoking 你做菸的奴僕 you are slaves to the cigarette 你吸毒 If you are drug addicted 你做毒的奴僕 You are slaves of drug 你犯姦淫 If you commit adultery 你做淫亂的奴僕 You are slaves of adultery 你說謊 If you lie 你是說謊的奴僕 You are slaves of lies 你騙人 You cheat 你是欺詐的奴僕 slaves to the deceit 你從來沒有自由 You've never been free 因為你沒有自由 Because you have no freedom 所以你以為你自由的時候 If you think you're free 你就把自己被你自己錯誤的自由出賣掉了 You have been betrayed by the freedom that you think you have 一個人幾十公斤 If you are certain weight 你有幾十公斤這麼重 A few tens of kilograms 但是你被一個兩公分的菸 把你綁住綁了幾十年 But you are held in bondag by a 2 centimeters of cigarette 你自由嗎？ Are you free? Jesus Christ says, 所有犯罪的就是罪的奴僕 all who have sinned have been slaves of sin 但是上帝的兒子給你自由的時候 When Son of God gives you freedom 你就得到真正的自由 Then you have true freedom 上帝不但告訴我們「我們墮落了」 Not only does God tell us we have fallen 上帝也為我們預備了「救贖的恩典」 He has prepared the grace of redemption 使我們不但回頭 So that we can return 得到原來的地位 to retrieve our original status 我們還要超過原先被造的尊貴 We can transcend our original honour and glory 與上帝一同在寶座上 To be with God on His throne 直到永永遠遠 For all eternity 明天我要特別講「救贖」的事情 Tomorrow I will talk about salvation 今天我們講墮落已經講得很清楚了 We have explained what to fall means 願上帝賜福給我們 May God blesses us 我們今天如果沒有墮落 If we are not fallen 可能我們沒有發現 我們失去的是什麼 Then we won't realize what we have lost 很多人在生病的時候 才覺悟他曾經有過健康 Many people when they are sick they realized that they were healthy 很多人曾經破產的時候 才回想他曾經有過財產 If you get bankrupt you realise you once had wealth 很多人在已經失落之後 才知道他原先的尊貴在什麼地方 If you are lost, you realise that you were once honourable 今天晚上 This evening 讓我們很謙卑、很誠實的說 Let us come before God humbly, honestly 主啊，我原來是尊貴的 Say to God. Lord, I was originally 我現在覺悟了 honourable, I now know 我要回到祢的面前 I want to return to you 你願意嗎？ Are you willing 到主的面前來 Come before the Lord 領受主的恩典 To receive His grace 無論是基督徒 Whether you are Christian 無論是非基督徒 or non-Christian 你說：主啊，我感謝祢 You says, Lord I thank you 祢給我聽到真實的事情 You allow me to hear the truth 這樣好的訊息 such a good message 我願意回到祢的面前 I'm willing to return to you 我們大家低頭禱告 Let us pray 有哪一個人 How many of you 你說：主啊，我要回到祢面前 You said, Lord I want to return to you 我要接受祢 I want to accept you 我要相信祢 I want to believe in you 求主赦免我的罪 You forgive my sin 求主拯救我的靈魂 and save my soul 有這樣的人 If this is what you say 請你把手舉起來 raise your hand 有哪一個人？ 舉起手來，感謝主 感謝主、感謝主⋯ Thanks be to God.
